Noisy white noise

Straight out of Dilbert.

We have this white-noise system that is supposed to eliminate or reduce background sounds. Right now there is an HR congregation around my desk debating on how much to reduce the noise coming from the extremely loud white-noise system.

It seriously sounds like my hard-of-hearing grandmother fell asleep while watching TV and the station went off the air.
