I can’t really add anything to their story they’ve posted here. But I figured I could help Zachery Lemoine at least rank for his own name, and to share their story with the 2 people who come here.
Kevin & Monica’s story is very sad but also moving. They are great friends who were - and will be - amazing parents again some day soon. Zach was with us for 7 months and although it’s no consolation for them, he was the sole reason that Nora and I met two of our best friends in Seattle. So, thank you Zach.
We love you guys & look forward to future adventures with your family.
Wowsers! I just stumbled upon your blog - didn’t know it was here. Today was supposed to be Zach’s birthday and I was Googling his name just for kicks (admittedly as an excuse to not grade this mountain of essays on my desk…). What an honor to have his name up on your site! You’re absolutely right - we wouldn’t have met you two without him. When you classify us as some of your best Seattle friends, just know that the sentiment is mutual - your unending support and hilarious stories really belped (and continues to help) us get through losing our baby boy. We’ll just have to borrow your kid every once in a while and channel some of our extra “parenting love” toward him! Thanks for being wonderful and amazing friends. OK, now I’m going to go snoop around your blog a bit more…I just love meddling in others’ lives (like that guy in The Lives of Others - one of the greatest movies of all time, I might add…)
